The sale of Liberty Market to Joe Johnston and his brothers should provide a boost to Gilbert's Heritage District, business owners said Thursday.

"Mary Ellen Fresquez, owner of Ink It! and a member of the town's redevelopment commission agrees."I don't think that we can go wrong with Joe Johnston having purchased that," Fresquez said. "I'm sure he's got a really good concept."Johnston is co-owner of Joe's Real BBQ and is developing Joe's Farm Grill and The Coffee House, a restaurant and coffee house in Agritopia at Ray and Higley roads in Gilbert. "
